Michael Thomas - Dir. of Golf Course Maint.
Michael has been at Mirasol since 2003 and  assisted with the final construction phase of the Sunrise golf course, serving as Superintendent before moving into the Director of Golf Course Maintenance position.
Michael was born in Florida, but spent most of his career in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and the Carolinas, before moving back to Florida in 2000.
His work experience has included several different golf courses, most notably Emerald Dunes Golf Club in Florida, Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio, Wild Wing Plantation in South Carolina, and The Woodlands Country Club in South Carolina. Michael has been a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association since 1998 and has worked or volunteered at six different PGA and LPGA sanctioned events.

Scott Chastain - Superintendent, Sunrise
Scott is a native of Florida and has ten years experience in golf course maintenance.
He has been a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America for seven years. Scott's previous work experience includes an internship at Augusta National, Assistant in Training at East Lake Golf Club for the 2004 Tour Championship in Atlanta, and a second assistant position at McArthur Golf Club in Hobe Sound.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass Science.

Douglas Reed - Superintendent, Sunset
Douglas is the newest addition to the Golf Course  Maintenance staff. Born in Northeast Pennsylvania, Doug attended Rutgers University in New Jersey and was awarded a degree in Turfgrass Management in 1994.
Douglas has worked as a superintendent for several country clubs between California and Florida, most notably, Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, where he hosted two LPGA major events.
Douglas and his wife, who reside in Port St. Lucie, have been married for 10 years and are in the process of adopting their first child from China.

Hunter Videll - Equipment Manager
Hunter was born in Finland and raised in Sweden. In Sweden, he worked as a car mechanic and also a farm equipment mechanic. Hunter moved to South Florida in 1988 and has worked as an Equipment Manager at Bear Lakes Country Club and BallenIsles Country Club. Prior to holding those positions, he had his own used turf equipment sales and repair business for 16 years in Lake Placid, Florida.
Hunter spends most of his free time with his wife Julie and their two boys Shawn, 16, and Nicklas, 11. The Vidells enjoy boating and going to the boys' youth sports events.
Josue Batz - Assistant Superintendent
Josue was born and raised in Guatemala.  He moved to South Florida in 1994 and worked at Harbor Ridge Yacht and Country Club for three years. He left Harbor Ridge to work at Ballantrae Golf & Yacht Club, where he remained for five years.
Josue started at Mirasol in 2003 as a foreman on the Sunrise Course and was promoted in early 2008 to Assistant Superintendent, where he oversees the Mirasol Master Maintenance Association irrigation system, among other duties.
Denise Wilkins - Administrative Assistant
Denise, a native of Vermont, moved to Florida in  1976. Over the past 18 years, she has worked in the maintenance departments at Mirasol and Old Marsh Golf Club, and prior to that, worked for the developer of Frenchman’s Creek.
